What would be possible if our separate communities started overlapping? This is for the people ready to find out.

Campout

1st Annual Summer Gathering

July 11 - 12, 2026 | St. Ignatius, MT

Your People Have Their People. Let's all meet.

This weekend is for the person who's been quietly wishing for a broader, more diverse community. We need your help to make it happen.

2 DAYS.

1 CREEK.

2 MEALS.

1 SAUNA.

100+ HUMANS.

COUNTLESS SONGS.

TIME, TOGETHER.

One weekend where different worlds gather on land & in song to figure out what more is possible in community.

Brian "Yam" Dwyer by Tree

Hi, I'm Kristina.

Campout is more than a gathering. It's a dream.

I have been living in Western Montana for nine years with my husband and our three children. We love calling Missoula home. When we first moved here, our family was young and we knew no one. For years I longed for a deeper, wider web of people who truly know and care for each other.

Over the past several years I have been earnestly working to grow and nurture a community for myself and my family. I want my children to grow up surrounded by people who show up for each other, who embody and express love for each other, who really know each other. I want to DO life with my community and neighbors.

In my experience, the deepest relationships are forged in extended time together— overnight, intentional gatherings where we can be seen and known in deeper ways than is possible in just a few hours here and there.

Out of this vision, the Montana Sings Campout was born; a weekend to slow down on this beautiful land we call home, to sing and dance and play in the sun, to eat good food and make memories together through simple, joyful presence.

This vision has my heart overflowing.

Made with love.

Two delicious meals are included with each ticket. Saturday night: a taco bar with drinks and Sunday morning, three kinds of frittata, a fresh breakfast salad with coffee. Come hungry.

Saturday and Sunday lunches from the Amish Bakery in St. Ignatius are available as add-ons after checkout.

We've got a big-ass tent.

There will be shade, sauna, a cool creek for swimming, great people, land to wander, and time for both solitude and connection. Treat yourself whatever you need most.

What to Expect

This is a community gathering.

This ain't a concert, y'all. Our vision isn't for you to witness music and community but to become music in community.

Everything we want from song-circle.

Song circles are magical, but we never have enough time to actually talk to one another. This is your opportunity to connect more deeply with this community and meet new people.

Chill, with time to simply be.

This is a closed event (no coming and going). We invite guests to arrive together, root into the land and soak up the goodness. You’ll be held in the workshops/circles, with plenty of free time to listen to what you body and mind needs. Swim, nap, wander, sauna, sing, dance, connect.

Lots of singing and dance.

There will be a lot of opportunities to sing, to learn songs, to catch songs, and to dance. It's all invitational. Whether you're seasoned with us or brand new, you'll find a way to plug in.

Solitude & connection.

Attend all the offerings, or none of them! Pitch a tent among friends or find a quiet spot for yourself. This land, and the design of this event, is intended to be spacious.

All are welcome.

All ages, all generations — kids 12 and under come free. This is a gathering for people who believe in the power of music and desire more in diversity in community. Y'all — come be part of it.

We Can't Do This Alone.

Neither can you and that's kinda the point.

We can plan the most beautiful weekend in the world, but what makes it become what we're dreaming is having the right people show up. And the right people won't all find their way here on their own. They need to be invited. That's where you come in.

Our invitation to you? Step in and take some ownership of this. This event is spacious because it's about forming connections. Do you crave a more deeply woven community? Do you want less division, and more harmony? Then reach out to whoever came to mind while you were reading, and share this vision.

The wider we cast this net together, the more special (and wildly unknown) this weekend becomes. We are building something bigger than any one of us.

Will you help us weave this dream into reality?
